how come that people can vieuw the content of a txt file on my computer in the htdocs dir. , while listing the directory is set to false. I don't want visitors to see the content of this txt file , what can i do ??
If someone know that your htdocs contains a file called x.txt for example, he can view it even if the directory listing is disabled. He can simply type in his browser http://<your machine>/x.txt .
If you don't want people to see a file, just do not put in your htdocs directory. In the future version 1.1, you will be able to setup access with password on files and directorires, so people won't get certain files unless they know the password.
