Linux Version - Unable to connect

I was able download, install, start, and access the console of the Linux X1 version. I'm also able to retrieve the "Welcome to Abyss Web Server" page by pointing my browser to http://135.0.0.1:8000/.
However, it I point it to localhost, I get the "Unable to connect" page.

Any help would be appreciated

I assume you mean http://127.0.0.1:8000
And did you try http://localhost:8000 ?
Are you running the GUI version of Linux or just the command line?
