The default gateway, is 192.168.0.1, i have seen this before on ipconfig, but its the other network computer and i want it to point to 192.168.0.2

Is there no way you can say how to do it on the Forum?
Also i know this may sound stupid, but i seriously cannot find my router, I don't think i even have one, I mean i have looked for a big box with flashing lights coming out of it and thats my cable modem.
and when i get the I.P of that 192.168.100.1 there is no username and password its just a configuration manager of my cable modem.
Is there a way to forward it to my computer without a Router?

I've been trying to configure my Abyss server for awhile now and from what I understand I need to do some port forwarding if my router is blocking incoming connection into my webserver. I also found out that the IP I'm getting from http://www.aprelium.com/ip changes everyday. In order for "port forwarding" to function, I need to set up my IP to be static. I followed all the instructions in http://www.portforward.com/motorola/wr850g.htm for port forwarding and setting static IP. I'm using port 8080 since my ISP seems to be blocking port 80. Here's some screenshots:

I didn't fully understand the instruction in http://www.portforward.com/motorola/wr850g-dhcp.htm step4. Also, in setting up my static IP in Control Panel/Network/Properties, ipconfig/all command gives me 4 identical IP numbers with 192.168.10.x See below screenshot.

I really need some guide going through here. Thanks

They are not identical. The first one is different from the last 3.
The line IP Address 192.168.10.2 is your PC's IP address.
The other 3 - default gateway, dhcp server and dns server - are the IP of your router.

The IP you are getting from Aprelium is your WAN/internet IP. This is the IP others will use to access you site. You cannot control this, or make it static (without paying your ISP extra). However, you do not need a static WAN IP.
The instructions are to set a static LAN IP for your server PC.

OK... I need to know... if I have a anti-virus program AND have the latest updates from Windows Update installed up-to-the-minute, is it better to use DMZ than regular?

No, there is no need. It will not improve the operation of Abyss in any way.
Abyss only needs one port open - 80. If you're only hosting a webserver, there is absolutely no need to use DMZ. I consider myself an advanced user and my knowledge of Windows security pretty damn good, but I still keep my server behind the router rather than DMZ'd. It's just not worth the risk.
If you're also hosting an FTP, DMZ can make life easier in terms of active connections from other users who are also behind routers, but in the long run for a small site it's easier to forward a range of ports and tell users to use passive connections.
When you have only port 80 open, the only risk that you're taking is running Abyss - which has been proved to be well secured and safe.
If you put your machine in the DMZ, all ports on your server are portentially accessible from the internet - this means any software that is allowed to listen for incoming connections is then a potential security risk. This is slightly mitigated by a personal firewall, but then the firewall itself becomes one more potential security hole.
I don't want to be busy at work the day someone discovers a way of remotely killing my software firewall then discovers some new Windows 0day...

Internet users can not access my page. I'll give as
much information as I can. I have DirecWay Satellite
internet modem plugged right in, no router,
firewall turned off, and Windows XP. I have my
index.html set up and can view it at http://127.0.0.1/
and http://localhost/. Several websites, including
this one, display my ip as being...Your IP address is
66.82.9.85 I am set up on port 80. When I go to
Network Connections and to properties it says my
DNS server is 66.82.4.8 I know I'm probably missing
something. I even have Networking set up to accept
incoming connections but no devices are listed I guess
because I don't have a router/hub but I done it
anyway just in case. If anyone has any suggestions
please help. Thanks.

Your IP resolves to AC5-Webproxy68.direcpc.com - I'm guessing that's some kind of transparent proxy server that your ISP has in place. You will need to find your real IP before you can make any more progress...

Here are all the details at 192.168.0.1(DirecWay Satellite Modem)
IP Address: 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
NAT IP Address: 67.44.211.231
NAT Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Router Address: 66.82.26.91
My Ip changed since yesterday because I reset
my modem. Today my Ip shows as 66.82.9.66
but usually stays the same unless reset or lose power.
Apparently this modem gets a router address to(above).
On the system status and signal page it says my
Operational; Upstream Addr: 66.82.9.66 Just thought I'd
through that in there. Is there another way to find an ip.
DirecWay is either hiding it or going through hundreds of
routers or something could be configured wrong. If anyone
has any suggestions about all these numbers and how
others can connect to my pc...please feel free.

Is there anyway pass the dammn little box without having to enter authorozation stuff? And then, how would people get access to my page when stupid No Ip.com says: The IP address you entered is invalid. Please enter a non-private IP network address when I try entering in 144.137.52.139:80 as the IP adress, and also when I try entering in 144.137.52.139:10002 as the IP address.
So, how do I get my website online (which is what I asked in my topic before, but I was told to read this topic.)?

If you don't have access to your routers configuration, you don't get online, simple as that. Time to go sign up for a Geocities account until you're old enough to be allowed to play on the real internet.

Luckily for you, I used to have that type of router. As that other person said, this is the setup page for your router. As deafult, the user name is admin, and the password is 123. If that doesn't work, try using 1234 as the password. If that doesn't work, try leaving the password blank. And if that doesn't work, look up Port fowarding DI 604 on Google.

I got into my routers configuration, so yeah, I can get the Abyss Web Server up and running.
Problem is, when I type in my IP address (my internet box is also a router) and put :60 at the end (which is the port that Abyss Web Server has the host running on), the page doesn't change. (and yes, I pushed enter. Duh.)

And yes, I clicked Apply (you can't see the apply button in the screenie.)
Should I have changed the Redirect IP Adress? If so, to what?
Edit 2: Never mind, I've got it working now :D
Didn't bother to check if my IP had changed after I configured the ports lol
