Miuccia
Hello everyone,
I'm having some issues with my website in combination with visitors using Google Chrome. Pages load really slow or aren't loading at all, or al least parts of the pages (like images and CSS-files) do not load. It seems to be a Chrome-related issue, becouse these things do not happen when using Internet Explorer of Firefox. This has been going on for months now, and it's really driving me crazy.
At the moment, I run Abyss X2 2.9.0.1 in combination with a fresh PHP 5.5.10-installation (using the Aprelium preconfigured package), running a Wordpress-installation (latest version 3.8.1). My hardware is not showing any IO-related problems (Haswell-processor, 8GB RAM and running from a brand new Samsung 840PRO SSD. OS is Windows 2008 R2 SP1). I tried everything
Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue? IIS and Apache are not having any issues with Chrome, but I prefer Abyss.

Miuccia,
Please read
http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=345041 for a similar issue.
A fix is already available for tests and it should be made public within a few days.

Ok, that's great, thank you. Looking forward to it!

Hi Aprelium,
'a few days' is taking a bit long... The original post you mention dates from january 17. Any news regarding this issue?
Miuccia
Again, another week has passed and still no update. This bug has been around for months and unfortunately Aprelium still hasn't released any patch yet. My patience is running low and i'm currently considering switching to IIS, which is not what i want... What should I do?
(updated post since i wasn't very polite in the first one)

Miuccia, have you tried contacting priority support about your post? Aprelium isn't always present on the forums so it's mostly users of the software replying to other users' posts.
Miuccia
No I haven't done that... aprelium-support replies on topics on a daily basis, so I thought this was the best way to express my problems with Abyss. Good idea though, i'll contact support tomorrow!

I hope this gets resolved for you soon. Good luck!

I can confirm that the test version seems to sort this issue out - I have been running it for a few weeks now and it solves all the css/image loading issues - websites run fine, the admin runs fine, it all runs fine!
Aprelium are very good with their support, but as TRUSTAbyss has said you will probably get a better response by emailing their support staff.

They did get back to me in one business day!!!
So far things seem to be running much better as well.(beta version)
